“We envision a world where our connections to nature create a healthy, flourishing planet. We see a critical role for the arts in fostering these connections. Our mission is to inspire young people to explore and connect with nature through photography.”

This is the vision of “Focus On Nature Guelph” which is an Ontario non-profit corporation and registered Charity. They deliver a nature photography program in elementary schools to nurture creativity and inspire young people.  Focus On Nature is aligned with the Ontario Visual Arts Curriculum and they use “the element of design” as a focus for exploring, observing and describing the natural world.

Do you enjoy working with children in grades 4-6? Do you have an appreciation for nature and fostering creative abilities? If you do, then this may be the perfect volunteer opportunity for you.
