Wyndham House, Youth Resource Centre requires STEPout Program Volunteers for their barrier-free programming for youth aged 13-24 living in Guelph. This program encourages personal growth and expression. A volunteer with the STEPout program will be supervised by the Recreation Coordinator, and has the opportunity to participate and lead sport and recreation programming for youth. This experience is an excellent opportunity for those intending to teach, those interested in physical education/kinesiology/fitness, and those interested in human services. YMCA YWCA, Guelph requires Wellness Program Volunteers. The Y needs volunteers to carry out their mission to build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. The Wellness Program Volunteer is responsible for establishing relationships and practicing core coaching skills that assist the individual in identifying and achieving desired outcomes, transforming them into action, and maintaining lasting change overtime. Homewood Health Centre is looking for a Mealtime Supervisor to observe and monitor Eating Disorders Program patients during and post mealtimes to contribute to the patient well being. Volunteers will follow guidelines as established by the program staff, contribute to a helping supportive atmosphere, report patients’ intake and socialize with patient groups during post meal supervision.
